Sculpture in glass and crystal, characterised by its tranparency, made by means of an innovative application of the glass fusing technique. The shape is inspired by jellyfish. The soft sinuosity of the tentacles is obtained by using a grid that the glass is allowed to flow out of, thus becoming droplets and filaments.

In Ice, Daniela Forti uses layers of transparent glass that solidifies during the fusing process and reminds the beholder of a heavy fall of rain, frozen in a photograph.

The glacial tones of the sculpture are perfectly suited to dark and modern environments, lit by a stream of light to enhance and light up the piece’s aesthetic qualities.
